Choose a theme for the work you do
A useful pack does not need hundreds of cards. A small set with a consistent theme is enough to try the loop. Choose material you own or have permission to use, especially if you plan to publish the pack.
- Study: your own sketches, science illustrations you can reuse, and captions celebrating a finished practice set.
- Work: a progress-themed collection of your photographs or small illustrations.
- Chores: pet photos, garden pictures or a caption that marks getting a household job out of the way.
- Creative projects: snapshots of things you have made, so finishing an action reveals a reminder of earlier work.
Use captions that acknowledge the finished action
Try short captions such as ‘One less loose end’, ‘That was the next step’ or ‘You showed up for this’. Keep the tone something you would enjoy reading repeatedly. A caption-only pack works too: it delivers the message as a gift card.
If a pack has images, a randomly chosen caption from that pack can appear alongside the image. New accounts begin with a Starter pack containing ‘Nice work!’, so there is already a simple example to edit.
Connect the pack to tasks
Open Rewards → Packs, create or edit a pack, then add images, GIFs or captions. You can upload or use an image URL. The image-search generator can also help fill a themed pack; review the results and permissions before sharing them.
- Keep the pack active and make sure it contains at least one item.
- Assign the pack to the list it should reward.
- Use a default pack to cover lists with no assignment.
- Complete a new task in that list and check your Collection.
Keep variety without turning setup into another project
Enable No repeats until seen all if you want to see every card before the cycle starts again. Special pulls can add Common, Shiny, Holographic or Legendary finishes to ordinary cards. Turn them off if you prefer your images unchanged.
If a theme stops being enjoyable, replace a few cards or choose another pack. The goal is a quick reward after work, not hours spent maintaining the reward system. A task rewards once regardless of how elaborate the pack is.
